On May 11, 2020, the students of Fuzhou Lakeside International School finally returned to their familiar classrooms. After many days of not seeing each other, both students and teachers looked very excited, and after exchanging pleasantries, everyone quickly got into the study mood.
FLIS has prepared for the return to school: we have set up a morning inspection safety passage, where students enter the school at a distance of one meter from each other in the queuing area and are tested for temperature in an orderly manner; students with suspected symptoms will be sent to an off-campus isolation tent for proper placement and parents will be notified; students will be seated in class at a safe distance of at least one meter, and anyone with suspected symptoms during class will be placed in an on-campus isolation point.
We have also made adjustments to our lunch offerings: during this time, students will eat in the classroom, and cafeteria staff will pack the food and distribute the lunch boxes. In addition, we will also do a temperature test again in the afternoon.
For some students who have not yet returned to school, the back-to-school lessons in the secondary department will also be recorded and homework will be presented digitally, and physical education lessons will be changed to those requiring remote collaboration to avoid the risk of crowds.
FLIS will be cleaning and disinfecting the school on a regular basis. Please also prepare enough epidemic prevention supplies and join us in safeguarding the health of our campus community!
